Integration
|
|
|
Based on leading-edge architecture, FirstPlanIT integrates seamlessly with your systems to support existing facilities efficiently and cost effectively.
FirstPlanIT utilises open standards including XML, web services and SOAP to simplify integration with your third party systems and data feeds including live flight information, staff messaging and HR systems.
Open standards provide a neutral mechanism for data exchange in controlled and structured environments to best fit with existing external systems saving time and money.
- XML
data transfer in now viewed as the de facto technology for inter-system data exchange. XML provides a vendor and technology neutral mechanism for data exchange in a structured and controlled environment.
- Web Services
provide an industry standard, vendor neutral integration technology. FirstPlanIT's web service interface is available for all FirstPlanIT business objects. This provides direct application-to-application functional integration. All web service calls are based on industry standard SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), with data passed in XML format.
- Message Broker
approach to systems integration allows de-coupling on the systems to be integrated when there is already a message brokering service for data integration across the operation. The message broker can deliver messages to multiple destinations using the set of business rules.
- Oracle Replication
provides direct integration facilities, enabling the replication of tables or views without the requirement for modification to the software.
Replication can be done in real time or as snapshots.
- Simple file transfer
requires some degree of coordination between the different system vendors. FirstPlanIT provides full support for simple file transfer and individual interface processes are created from standard libraries to process the incoming files.
